Terms & Conditions

GENERAL

All transactions are covered by these conditions unless and only if they are varied by special terms or conditions in writing between parties.

TITLE

Ownership of the goods shall not pass to the customer until payment in full of our charge has been received. If the customer is in default of payment, the Company shall, without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to him be entitled to recover possession of the goods supplied.

SIGNED IN CONCURRENCE

PAYMENT

Unless varied by special arrangement private customers shall be required to pay on completion and bona-fide trade customers shall be required to pay within 30 days from month end of invoice date. Failure to pay within the above terms or any other specific terms agreed between the two parties shall nullify any discounts or allowances made against the Company charge.

WARRANTY

All replacement work carried out by The Windscreen Company Ltd is guaranteed for as long as you own or operate the Vehicle. This cover includes installation, workmanship and subsequent leakage.

Any rectification work necessary will be carried out during normal working hours. Such guarantee will apply provided that no exclusion is recorded at the time due to prior bodywork corrosion/damage or inclement weather conditions these would be noted on either a Pre-Work Vehicle Check sheet and/or invoice. Further guarantee shall not apply while our charge remains outstanding after the agreed payment terms have lapsed.

CUSTOMER GLASS

Work carried out on a customers vehicle which does not arise under the terms of our guarantee above and/or where the Company does not supply the glass will be carried out entirely at the customers risk.

I had a windscreen booked in with this company on my van. I was let down due to unforeseen circumstances by the company twice but they offered me asolution to do the vehicle on a Saturday morning at my work. I had a guy named Marc who showed up on the time that was promised. He was a nice guy who after speaking to him I realised had been in the game for 25 plus years! I could tell he wasn’t just a chancer! He Dismantled all the trims and clips etc with care and treated my van like it was his own car! He was a genuine likeable chap and I was well pleased with the work he carried out! Would definitely recommend!! (If you can request for Marc to be your fitter) Iv had nightmares with windscreens being fitted poorly before by other companies and im in the motor trade myself so I can tell if someone knows what they’re doing!! Highly recommended. Windscreen Company were able to replace the windscreen of my vehicle within 48 hours of contacting them, they came to my location(away from home), carried out the replacement professionally and efficiently. The technician was clearly very skilled, it helped too that they were polite and understanding. The contractor preferred by my insurance provider were not able to do the replacement in the time required but Windscreen Company could, I would use this company over any others if I ever need a replacement / repaired windscreen again (hopefully I won’t!) thank you....Read more
