This means that once the technician has completed the replacement, you’ll only have to wait half an hour before being able to drive again. We use a specialist adhesive that seals the glass in place far faster than many other products on the market, meaning our customers don’t have to wait as long before getting behind the wheel once again.

Some adhesives can take anywhere from a few hours to an entire day to completely dry, making our 30-minute drive-away time hugely beneficial to customers.

Our windscreen replacement service is extremely straightforward and follows the below process:

  • Assess the damage- We’ll assess the damage to see if a full windscreen replacement is needed before providing you with a free quote.
  • Remove windscreen wipers – Then, we’ll remove your car’s windscreen wipers, trim and the seal that is located around the edge of the glass. 
  • Remove the old windscreen – The old windscreen is then removed and sent for recycling by our team. 
  • New windscreen installed – We’ll then install your new glass. We have options available for all makes and models. 
  • ADAS recalibration – If your vehicle has ADAS systems in place, we’ll recalibrate them to ensure they continue to work properly. 
  • Drive away in 30 minutes – Once our work has finished, you can drive your vehicle after just 30 minutes!

We offer a fully mobile service to our customers, offering them the convenience of carrying out the work at their home or a place that is most suitable for them. Please note, if ADAS recalibration is required, a static calibration service will need to take place under workshop conditions at one of our depots. We can also book in the work at the most appropriate time for you, minimising downtime as much as possible.

What happens if you don’t wait after a windscreen replacement?

If you drive your car before the 30-minute drive-away time has been completed, the adhesive may not yet be fully dry. This could be dangerous and cause the glass to fall out while you’re driving, so it’s important you always listen to the advice of our technicians. 

In some instances, our team may advise a longer wait time, but they will always inform you if this is the case.
